Our TEDx Talk is out! Neuroarchitecture: Designing for the Senses and the Unconscious Mind
Ákos’ TEDx talk explores how architectural spaces shape us—often unconsciously—and how this curiosity gradually evolved into the foundation of Noumen Studio’s approach. Tracing his path from early sensitivity to space through professional practice and research, the talk introduces neuroarchitecture as a way to better understand the relationship between design, perception, and human experience.
Drawing from cognitive neuroscience, environmental psychology, and phenomenology, Ákos reflects on how these fields can offer designers new tools to think about space beyond form and function. The talk also shares how these ideas are translated into real projects at Noumen Studio, where research and practice continuously inform one another.
A short but personal reflection on designing with experience in mind—and on building a practice around how spaces truly shape us.
